The DEGEWO Group is the largest and one of the oldest housing companies in Berlin and consists of the 4 sub-companies DGW, KWG, WBG and GEWOBE. In addition, the DEGEWO Group also has various holdings, e.g. in facility management and funds.

The company group currently administers approx. 85,000 rental units, including around 70,000 apartments. The remainder is composed of commercial and other rental units (parking lots, etc.).

The DEGEWO has erected a series of innovative buildings in the past, e.g. the first apartment high-rise in Berlin, the largest building in Europe and the motorway superstructure in the Schlangenbader Str.

2.) Description of the role and contribution in the project

The main task is to test TACKOBST WP2 practices regarding PIF methodologies & tools, TACKOBST WP3 practices regarding PEF methodologies & tools, TACKOBST WP4  regarding PSF methodologies & tools to check their feasibility in the improvement of the energy performance management.
